Handcrafted on our homestead using the hot process soap making method, this bar is rooted in old-world soap traditions and simple homestead living.

Made with 100% grass-fed tallow and fresh sheep milk, this bar keeps the recipe intentionally minimal. These two ingredients form a rich, nourishing base that focuses on what soap is meant to be—clean, functional, and uncomplicated.

We use sodium hydroxide in the hot process method to transform oils and fats into true soap. After cooking and curing, no lye remains in the finished bar—only a ready-to-use, gentle soap.

Sheep milk brings a creamy, soft quality that has long been valued in traditional skincare. Tallow provides structure, nourishment, and a firm, long-lasting bar. Together, they create a balanced soap that cleans without harshness.

Shepherd’s Bar is available in both scented and unscented versions. The scented bars are lightly enhanced with pure essential oils inspired by the land—notes of cedar, pine, herbs, and warm earth depending on the blend. The unscented version keeps things fully simple and minimal.
