Doula Service

Hello and welcome! I’m Samara, a certified Doula. My passion for childbirth all began with infertility and an autoimmune, which sent me down a holistic and spiritual path of healing and better understanding of the female body and the amazing ability God gave every woman. The ability to carry and birth a child. We may have the natural ability to give birth, but that doesn’t mean we have the confidence or support we need to do it as smooth as possible.

In Greek doula means “woman caregiver” and is now used to refer to a woman who is trained, knowledgable about birth, provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to the mother before, during, and after birth. Just how it was done for hundreds of years, if not thousands.

Studies have found that a doula’s presence helps parents to feel more secure and cared for, to adapt to the new family dynamic, to have greater success with breastfeeding, and to have more confidence as parents.
